Auction Representation: Given our Working Relationships with the Large Auction houses as Sotheby's, Christies, Dorotheum, Tajan and the local auctions in Toronto , we are in a position to represent a clients Purchase or Sale given our expertise in choosing the appropriate painting on their behalf or selling their entire collection of works for the highest prices possible finding the perfect market to introduce the works in every corner of the world for Optimum Prices Realized.
Our Fee to Purchase on behalf of the Client is 5% of the Hammer Price.
Our Fee to Sell a Particular Work or Works is 10% of the Final Price Achieved at Auction Only.
Old Master Gallery accepts consignments at 17.5% comm. net to the Gallery
RESEARCH TIME IS $275/hour for a particular painting up to six hours than a reducing scale will apply if over 6 hours needed to research the given work.
A Verbal estimate of A Work of Art is $150 per item
