GOD'S NAME ? 

ONE of the Bible writers asked: "Who has gathered the wind in the hollow of both hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in a mantle? Who has made all the ends of the earth to rise? What is his name and what the name of his son, in case you know?" (Proverbs 30:4) How can we find out what God's name is? That is an important question. The creation is a powerful proof that God must exist, but it does not tell us his name. (Romans 1:20) In fact, we could never know God's name unless the Creator himself told us. And he has done that in his own Book, the Holy Bible.

On one celebrated occasion, God pronounced his own name, repeating it in the hearing of Moses. Moses wrote an account of that event that has been preserved in the Bible down to our day. (Exodus 34:5) God even wrote his name with his own "finger." When he had given Moses what we today call the Ten Commandments, God miraculously wrote them down. The record says: "Now as soon as [God] had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai he proceeded to give Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone written on by God's finger." (Exodus 31:18) God's name appears eight times in the original Ten Commandments. (Exodus 20:1-17) Thus God himself has revealed his name to man both verbally and in writing. So, what is that name?

In the Hebrew language it is written . These four letters, called the Tetragrammaton, are read from right to left in Hebrew and can be represented in many modern languages as YHWH or JHVH. God's name, represented by these four consonants, appears almost 7,000 times in the original "Old Testament," or Hebrew Scriptures.

The name is a form of a Hebrew verb ha·wah' (),meaning "to become," and actually signifies "He Causes to Become." * Thus, God's name identifies him as the One who progressively fulfills his promises and unfailingly realizes his purposes. Only the true God could bear such a meaningful name.

3)  Majority of Bibles these days Replaced God's Name Jehovah or YHWH with Lord. This is evident within the intro of any bible the first couple of pages explains that his name has been substituted. 

This makes things very confusing for many people since Lord represents both Christ and God. No wonder why many people feel that Christ was God a Grave Misconception and Against all Bible Truth READ  John 10:36 (Jesus admits that he is the SON OF GOD and not a God) , 1John 4:15 and 1John 5:5 are vital scriptures

The most accurate Bible that we use  is the New World Translations which has placed back Gods name Jehovah into its rightful place so there is no confusing what Christ did or said with what his Father said or did. No confusions and simple to read. 

 

 

LIFESAVING :  1 Timothy 2:4  God's Will is that.. "All men should be Saved and Come to an Accurate Knowledge of the Truth".

John 17:3  "This means Everlasting Life, their taking in Knowledge of you, the only true God and the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ

 Christ said, " Happy are those conscious of their Spiritual need, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them". 

Matthew 5:3  -   

The Righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will reside forever        upon it. Psalm 37:29 

 The offspring of the wicked ones they will indeed be cut off . Psalm 37:28 

The mouth of the Righteous one has wisdom, his tongue speaks justly and the    Law of  his God  is in his heart (Psalm 37:30,31)

Proverbs 3: 21-26 :  " My son, may they not get away from your eyes. Safeguard practical wisdom and thinking ability, and they will prove to be life to your soul and charm to your throat. In that case you will walk in security on your way and even your foot will not strike against anything. Whenever you lie down you will feel no dread and you will certainly lie down and your sleep must be pleasurable . You will not need to be afraid of any sudden dreadful thing, nor of the storm upon the wicked ones, because it is coming.

LAWS OF GOD WE MUST KNOW THEM AND RESPOND TO THEM IF THEY ARE IN OUR HEARTS   - KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION OF BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES 

The Ungodly will Perish (Ungodly means not knowing God) 

 2 Peter 2:6, 2 peter 3:7

" But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are NOW are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgement and of  DESTRUCTION OF THE UNGODLY MAN " 2Peter 3:7

" If  now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled (covered up or hidden) it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things (Satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelievers , that the illumination of the glorious news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. "

Satan is keeping People away from the Good news of the Bible as he knows that is mans only hope of knowing God and following the Laws of our Creator

2 Thessalonians 1: 7-8  " Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels, in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those that do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. "

Colossians 2:8  " Look out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry YOU off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ . "

 WHO IS RULING THE WORLD? 

 

      By using lies and trickery, Satan caused Adam and Eve to disobey God (Genesis 2:17; 3:6 ) and sin against God , he was really leading a rebellion and challenging God's way of ruling.  Essentially he was saying, ' God is a bad ruler. he tells lies and holds back good things from his subjects. Humans do not need to have God ruling over them. They can decide for themselves what is good and bad. and they will be better off under my rulership.'  

How would God handle such an insulting Challenge ?

God's perfect sense of justice would not allow him to put the rebels to death right away. He decided that time was needed to answer Satan's challenge in a satisfying way and to prove that the Devil is a liar. So God determined that he would permit humans to rule themselves for some time under Satan's influence.

John tells us, " And war broke out in Heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but id did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited EARTH ; he was hurled  down to the earth and his angels (demons) were hurled down with him. "  ( Revelations 12:7-9 )

Who accomplishes this great victory in God's name? The bible refers to "Michael" and his angels. But Who is Michael?  Michael means "Who is Like God? So Michael must be interested in vindicating God's  Sovereignty by proving that no one is to be compared to Him.  In Jude 9, he is called , "Michael the archangel ".  The title "archangel " is used elsewhere in the bible with reference to only one person: Jesus Christ  Paul says of him: " The Lord himself

will descend from the heaven with a commanding call with an archangel's voice and with God's trumpet ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16 )  The title, " archangel " means 

"Chief of the Angels ". So Revelation speaks of Michael and his angels is no other than Christ and his angels. Other biblical references See 2 Thessalonians 1:7, Matthew 24: 30,31; 25: 31. 

Apostle John reports a joyous heavenly reaction to this stupendous fall of Satan: "And I heard a loud voice in heaven say: 'Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accused them day and night before our God. ..........on this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them." Revelation 12:10-12

Satan questioned the motive of all humans. "People do not serve God because they love him ." "Give me  a chance, and I can turn anyone against God." This is why God allowed Job to be tested .  The issue of integrity to God that was raised by Satan  involves us today  where God's word says: " Be wise , my son and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me."

Proverbs 27:11.  

   WHEN WE LIVE IN A WAY THAT PLEASES GOD WE ACTUALLY HELP TO GIVE AN ANSWER TO SATAN'S FALSE CHARGES AND IN THAT WAY WE MAKE GOD'S HEART REJOICE.

Satan uses various methods to try to turn people away from God.  On the one hand he attacks "like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone. " (1 Peter 5:8 )

or Satan's influence may be seen when friends, relatives, or others oppose your efforts to study the Bible and apply what you learn. (John 15:19,20 )

Satan also "  keeps transforming himself into an angel of light". (2 Corinthians 11:14)  The Devil can use subtle means to mislead you an lure you away from a godly way of life. He can also use discouragement, causing you to feel that you are not good enough to please God. (Proverbs 24:10 ).  Remember There is NO righteous man in the earth that keeps doing good and does not sin . (Ecclesiastes 7:20 ) God wants all of us to come to repentance when we do something wrong  he is there to freely forgive us if we are honestly regretful of our actions. (2 Peter 3:9) and (Isaiah 55:7). Christ came for the sinners and as a sacrifice given to free us from our sins so we must always admonish Christ when we repent saying Through Jesus Christ our Lord after saying we are sorry for the wrongdoing. This will be explained in a later discourse.

Jesus never doubted that Satan is the ruler of this world. Satan once showed Jesus "all the kingdoms of the world and their glory ". Satan then promised Jesus:  "All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me." (Matthew 4:8 , 9; Luke 4:5,6 ) Would that offer been have been a temptation for Jesus if Satan was not the ruler of these Kingdoms?

Jesus did not deny that all these worldly governments were Satan's. In which case Jesus would have certainly denied this if Satan was not the power behind them.

Eventhough we know that Almighty God is the Creator of this magnificent Universe (Revelation 4:11) Yet nowhere does the Bible say that God or Jesus is the ruler of this world. In fact ,  Jesus specifically referred to Satan as "the ruler of this world" (John 12:31, 14:30, 16:11 ) The Bible even refers to Satan as 

" the god of this system of things."( 2 Corinthians 4:3,4 ) and "THe Whole World is lying in the power of the wicked one." (1John 5:19)

Satan uses MATERIALISM, ENTERTAINMENT and FALSE REASONINGS to take mankind turn away from  God and coming to accurate knowledge of the Truth(Reading and applying Biblical counsel) which is God's Will for man that they should all be saved with having this accurate Knowledge. (1Timothy 2:4)  eg. There are so many translations of the Bible.......this is False Reasoning for someone not to read the bible in fact all bibles say the same basic thing compare 26 different versions biblegateway.com 

Another false reasoning is that the Bible was written by man when in fact all scriptures are inspired by God (1 Timothy 3:16) yes man facilitated the writing of the scriptures as a Boss dictating to his secretary.  Another example of false reasoning is where a violent sport say the UFC can be doing people more harm in watching it, I myself couldnt get enough of it until I read the scripture in PSALM 11:5 Whereby it states that anyone loving violence God hates his Soul....WOW  that was enough for me to turn the channel and stop watching this form of entertainment or I could have reasoned it out that it is just a sport but when I actually listened to the fighters before their fight they were talking of hurting their opponent and their was indeed bloodshed on behalf of sport. I could have listened to this false reasoning.  Satan uses Entertainment to ruin Marriages watching immoral acts of debased sex in pornography can cripple your foundation to a healthy marriage allowing the viewing of other women or men in sexual activities other than your spouse is both harmful conduct, immoral and a form of infidelity which can cause your life. (Galatians 5:19,20,21) 

LOVE OF MONEY & MATERIALISM:

We are warned in 1 Timothy 6:9,10 "However, those who are determined to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and many senseless and hurtful desires, which plunge men into destruction and ruin. For the Love of Money is a root of all sorts of injurious things and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains".

1Timothy 6:17,18,19  "Give orders to those that are rich in the present system of things not to be high-minded, and to rest their hope, not on uncertain riches, 

But On GOD, who furnishes us all things richly for our enjoyment. To work at good, to be rich in fine works, to be liberal, ready to share, safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future, in order that they may get a firm hold on the real life. "

Hebrews 13:5,6  "Let your manner of life be free of the love of money, while you are content with the present things For he said : "I will be no means leave you nor forsake you". So that we may be of good courage and say God is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me. "

To summarize Christ tells us Not to Love the WORLD. (1John 2:15,16,17)

" Do not be loving the world or the things in the world . If anyone loves the world , the love of the Father is not in him: because everything in the world-the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of ones means of life-does not originate with the Father but originates with the world. Furthermore the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever. "

DOES GOD TRY US IN LIFE? 

When we are going through hardships and it seems that our lives are out of balance and we feel overwhelmed with problems is God really the source of our Trials? It is easy to think that but lets look at what James says in Gods Word the Holy Bible.

JAMES 1: 13-17  "When under trial , let no one say, 'I am being tried by God'

For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.

But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin, in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death. "

"Do not be mislead, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, for it comes down from the father of the celestial lights, and with him there is not a variation of the turning of the shadow ".

When a man does a crime and goes to jail. Was this God's punishment? 

When a boy procrastinated with his homework and played Nintendo instead of studying and a surprise test was given the next day and he obviously failed was that a result of God testing him?

So When a little girl runs across the street and gets killed by a car DID GOD TAKE HER? Or was that something else?

When a man instantly drops dead from an unknown ailment and then they find

he had a undiagnosed tumor which burst......... Was this God's Fault?

If you are walking past a bank and robbers are running out and they shoot at random and you get hit  

These last three examples explain another BIBLE Truth in the book of

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I Returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all. "

REMEMBER GOD ONLY GIVES GOOD GIFTS AND PERFECT PRESENTS AS THE SCRIPTURE READS ABOVE

BUT GOD'S NAME HAS BEEN DRAGGED THROUGH THE MUD BEING THE SOURCE OF MANS TROUBLES AND BLAMED FOR THE GRIEFS OF MANKIND WHEN SATAN HIMSELF IS BUSY SETTING TRAPS FOR

US WAITING TO SNARE US IN HIS CUNNING WAYS AND HE LOVES IT THAT WE BLAME OUR CREATOR FOR ALL OUR PROBLEMS. 

Ephesians 6:11,12 Put on the complete suit of Armor from God that you may be able to stand firm against the machinations of the Devil; because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places.

Revelations 12:12 " Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time".

ARE NATURAL DISASTERS FROM GOD?  NEVER!!! THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE GOD   ALWAYS GAVE WARNING  TO THE RIGHTEOUS PRIOR .  2) THE RIGHTEOUS WERE NEVER DESTROYED WITH THE WICKED , AND 3) GOD ALWAYS PROVIDED AN ESCAPE FOR THE RIGHTEOUS ONE. IN NATURAL DISASTERS BOTH THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED ARE KILLED TOGETHER, THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN , GOD WOULD GRANT THE RIGHTEOUS AN ESCAPE AND SAVE THEIR SOULS (LIVES). SATAN CAUSES ALL THESE DISASTERS TO TORMENT MANKIND AND HAVE US BLAME GOD JEHOVAH.

 GOD'S NAME MUST BE SANCTIFIED (MADE HOLY AND PURE AGAIN FREE FROM REPROACH OF SATAN AND MANKIND) AND ALL PEOPLE WILL KNOW THAT  HE HAS A SOVEREIGN RIGHT TO RULE OVER MANKIND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE FACING GOD.

While Christ was on earth he gave us the model prayer to follow  

Matthew 6:9  Christ said You must pray this way:

                    Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified (Holy be Your Name). Let your Kingdom come, Let your will take place as in heaven, also upon earth.........

Gods will is to have his name be made Sanctified as in heaven also upon the earth..

Its important to know the meaning of the only prayer that was given to us by Jesus Christ God's Son.

                            WHEN WILL THE END COME?

While Christ was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples approached him privately saying: " Tell us , when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence , and of the conclusion of the system of things?  Matthew 24:3   And in Answer Jesus said to them: "Look out that nobody misleads you; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, 'I am the Christ, and will mislead many. You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that you are not terrified,  For these things MUST take place, but the end is not yet.

" For Nation will rise " against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes from one place after another. All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress. "Then people will deliver you up  to tribulation and will kill you and you will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. Then , also many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and mislead many and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. And this Good News of the Kingdom WILL be Preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then 

THE END WILL COME. (Matthew 24:4-14).

God wants to give everybody a chance to accept the Good News of the Kingdom  BEFORE THE END COMES

This Good News WILL BE PREACHED in all the inhabited earth to all nations as a witness.

THE  Preaching Campaign world-wide will Not STOP 

IT HAS DIVINE PURPOSE

GOD is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but HE IS PATIENT WITH YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to REPENTANCE.  Yet God's day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away, with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot  will be disolved and earth and the works in it will be discovered. ( 2 Peter 3: 9-10)

Matthew 24:36 "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father."

So 2012......Mayan calendar..........???

"Nobody Knows" NOT EVEN THE MAYANS  the Bible says

Only the Father

The End of this system will not happen by Man but ONLY GOD

Therefore , do not worry about nuclear war or anything that man can do to the earth to totally destroy it God will not let this happen. 

The Earth WILL always be Preserved just like in Noah's Days where the earth was just compacted out of water for a time  but it did not disappear, as we know the righteous will be inhabiting the earth indefinitely. PSALM 37:29 

BUT THE UNGODLY WILL BE WIPED OFF THE PLANET AND THE WICKED WILL FALL

See  2 Peter 3:7

Mankind will be almost destroyed but the 

Earth will Still Remain.

"Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it. whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading into life and few are the ones finding it.

Matthew 7:13,14

We are told to KEEP ON THE WATCH and Do Not Fall asleep Spiritually because that day will be upon us when we least expect it.

" But know this, that IN THE LAST DAYS, critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control,fierce,without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of Godly devotion but proving false to it's power, and from these turn away. "

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Lord Jesus from Heaven with his powerful angels in a flaming fire as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those that do not obey the good news of our Lord Jesus. These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength" 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 

READ THE BIBLE = GET TO KNOW GOD (His thoughts, Standards , Expectations) =  This BUILDS  FAITH IN GOD =  LOVE FOR GOD DEVELOPS AS YOU LIVE BY HIS STANDARDS AS SET OUT IN THE BIBLE AND TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE BY HIS WORD.

4). For the Eyes of God are upon the righteous ones, and his ears are toward their supplication; but the face of God is against those doing bad things.

DRAW CLOSE TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW TO YOU

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DIE?

Accurate Knowledge of Death as stated in the Scriptures

ECCLESIASTES 9:5  - As for the Living we are conscious that we will die ; but as for the dead,  they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. Also their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite  in anything that has to be done under the sun.

SAINTS MUST BE DEAD IN ORDER TO BE A SAINT. IF THE DEAD HAVE NO CONSCIOUS (NOT KNOWING), IF YOU PRAY TO A HIM OR A FAMILY MEMBER WHOM HAS DIED WILL THEY HEAR YOU?

Unfortunately not. The ONLY Hearer of Prayers is God. 

Acts 10:4

Phillipians 4:6

JOHN 5: 28,29  - Do not marvel at this , because the hour is coming in which ALL THOSE in the memorial tombs (Common grave , She'ol in Hebrew or Hades in Greek ) will hear his voice (Christ's voice) and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of Life and those who did vile things (Bad) things to a resurrection of judgement (like going to court).

BOTH THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE UNRIGHTEOUS WILL BE RESURRECTED!!!!!  Acts 24:15

Since the Wages of Sin is Death - Romans 6:23

" For he who has died  has been acquitted from (his) sin. 

"- Romans 6:7

" However, let this one fact not be escaping your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with God as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." 

2 Peter 3:8

Judgement Day is for 1000 years. All those being resurrected from their tombs to Paradise Earth  and all those that come through the Great Tribulation on Earth will have 1000 years to learn of God and become Holy and Perfect.  Sickness and Death will be no more.

There is no Hell,  Purgatory or Limbo mentioned anywhere in the Holy Bible.

God is a Loving Father .

The Righteous  themselves will possess the earth and live forever upon it to Time indefinite Psalm 37:29

"Gehenna"--- Symbol of Complete Destruction

 

"Gehenna"means "valley of Hinnom" for it is the Greek form of the Hebrew geh hin-nom'. In Joshua 18:16, where "valley of Hinnom" occurs, the Greek Septuagint reads "Gehenna." It occurs 12 times in the Christian Greek Scriptures, first appearing in Mt 5:22. .......................; whereas whoever says, 'You despicable fool!' will be liable to the fiery Ge-hen'na.

The valley of Hinnon became the dumping place and incinerator for the filth of Jerusalem. Bodies of dead animals were thrown to be consumed in the fires to which sulphur, or brimstone, was added to assist the burning. Also bodies of executed criminals, who were considered undeserving of a decent burial in a memorial tomb, were thrown in. If such dead bodies landed in the fire they were consumed.

No living animals or human creatures were pitched into Gehenna to be burned alive or tormented. Hence, the place could never symbolize an invisible region where human souls are tormented eternally in literal fire or attacked by undying worms. Because the dead criminals cast there were denied a decent burial in a memorial tomb, the symbol of the the hope of a resurrection, Gehenna was used by Jesus and his disciples to symbolize everlasting destruction, annhilation from God's Kingdom, or "second death," an eternal punishment.     They would return to dust with no hope of sharing God's Glorious Kingdom .

ISAIAH 65:17

" No more will there come to be a suckling a few days old from that place, neither an old man that does not fulfill his days, FOR ONE WILL DIE AS A MERE BOY, although a hundred years of age: and as for the sinner, although a hundred years of age he will have evil called down upon him. And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy, and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. They will not toil for nothing, nor will they bring to birth for disturbance, because they are the offspring made up of the blessed ones of Jehovah God AND THEIR DESCENDANTS WITH THEM.

The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull: and as for the serpent, his food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my Holy Mountain, Jehovah has said."

ISAIAH 65:20-25

O IF YOU ONLY WOULD ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION TO MY COMMANDMENTS! THEN YOUR PEACE WOULD BECOME JUST LIKE A RIVER, AND YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS LIKE THE WAVES OF THE SEA. AND YOUR OFFSPRING WOULD BECOME JUST LIKE THE SAND, AND THE DESCENDANTS FROM YOUR INWARD PARTS LIKE THE GRAINS OF IT. ONE'S NAME WOULD NOT BE CUT OFF OR BE ANNIHILATED FROM BEFORE ME."
