The Collingwood area inspired Chris’ connection to raw nature and this continues to be a central theme in his work.
Directors Thoughts There comes a very rare and talented artist every 10 years in my line of work whose works possess a vitality, confidence, ingenuity and above all mastery unlike any contemporary artist I have seen before after seeing 1000's of artists works each and every year. His usage of the Palette-Knife is one of the best I have seen to date in 24 years. Chris's Landscapes are whimsical, dreamy and seductive to the imagination incorporating the highest level of Impressionistic painting with true to life forms of realism. BRAVO Christopher !!!!!!
